Past Productions
Speedrun has done multiple shows in the past. Lets Speedrun through the shows we have done before.
The When and How

The When and How was an original script written by Anya Nagle. Performed by Speedrun back in May of 2024
“The When and How” follows a young couple with the supernatural powers to know exactly when, and exactly how, everyone in their life will die. Tensions rise, love and friendship are thrown into question, and not everyone will make it out alive as the timer ticks down on one very important “death day”.
Twisted

Originally Produced by Starkid. Speedrun took their turn in this adaptation of Twisted The Untold Story Of A Royal Vizier back in Aug of 2024
"Twisted" gives the "Wicked" treatment to Disney's Magic Kingdom, retelling the story of Aladdin from Jafar's point of view! Paying tribute to almost every 2D animated Disney musical AND the story of "Wicked" in one chaotic adventure, the intelligent and kind Royal Vizier must find a magical lamp to defeat the city's most wanted criminal.
Playing with Fire

Playing with Fire was a production produced at Trinity Street Playhouse back in Oct 2024
Just in time for Halloween, this dark companion piece to the original Frankenstein finds an exhausted and dying Victor, facing his convictions after finally tracking down his creature in the lonely, frozen tundras of the North Pole. PwF is an exploration of good and evil, parent and child, and scientist and experiment culminating with the Creature's burning question: “Why did you make me?”
Hamlet

Hamlet was Speedrun's first show in 2025 and kicked off the season with an amazing show back in March.
Our rendition of the Shakespearean classic HAMLET will feature trimmed down, slightly modernized version of the original text, and a cast of only 8 performers: many of whom will play multiple roles. The director cast all roles without regard for gender, and performers should be prepared to answer on how they would like to present their character(s) - as masculine, feminine, or completely androgynous - and how this will affect the story.
Stranger Sings

Speedruns Latest Show Stranger Sings hit the stage in July of 2025
With a book and score by Jonathan Hogue, Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical is a wild and irreverent send-up of the hit series Stranger Things and all its campy 80s glory. Join Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Dustin, and the whole Hawkins gang for a night of adventure, thrills, indulgent pop culture references, pubescent angst, heavy synth, poor parenting, convoluted love triangles, cheap effects, dancing monsters, and maybe, just maybe, justice for everyones favorite frumpy ginger, Barb Holland.
Medicine, Medicine

Speedruns First Show of 2026! This original piece was written by Anya Nagel and hit the stage at Trinity Street P
Set against a backdrop of 1970s America during the LGBT Rights Movement and a year after Harvey Milk was elected into California public office, the show takes place on the night of a lavender marriage between two fiercely religious close friends. Chester, a biology professor, and Poppy certainly love one another, but their hearts belong to other people—Chester’s Paul, Poppy’s Isabelle—and this marriage is one of safety. Over the course of the night, Chester and Poppy wonder about the future, plan hypothetical escapes, yell at God, and promise to keep each other safe. After all, what the local congregation doesn’t know won’t hurt them.
